[RESOLVED] Hitfilm Express 15 mp3 Export Error: The asset 'name.mp3' is offline and will not be rendered

I was working on a very short video with audio clip and noticed this error when I went to export the assets.

A quick search on google found the reason for this error, which I will explain here.

During my project I renamed my mp3 file from product payment disclosure to product purchase disclosure, as seen in the photo below.



To relink this mp3 file go to the mp3 file in the project folder outside of Hitfilm Express 15, and drag the mp3 file into the media section of the project inside of Hitfilm Express.
[You will need to Restore down the window of hitfilm express to overlay the two windows, or import the mp3 as you normally would by importing media]




Drag the new mp3 file over onto the Editor timeline over the old mp3 file to replace it,
and this will resolve the export error for you.
 



Now when you export the files, it wont give you the error anymore!
